Wildlife Institute of India (WII) has invited applications for engagement of Project Personnel for the Project “Assessment of Wildlife Values and Land Tenure for Planning Rationalization of boundaries for Changthang and Karakoram Wildlife Sanctuaries, Ladakh”. The last date for receipt of applications is 26th April 2021.
Important Dates
The shortlisted candidates will be notified (through email and website notification) for online personal interview by 30th April 2021.
The online interview will be held on 3rd & 4th May 2021 from 10:00 hrs onwards.
Educational Qualifications:
Project Scientist-I: Doctoral Degree in Wildlife Science /Ecology/ Forestry/ Biodiversity Conservation.
Senior Project Associate: Post Graduate Degree in Wildlife Science /Ecology/ Forestry/ Biodiversity Conservation/ Environmental Sociology/ Remote Sensing / GIS and at least four years of field research experience (OR) Ph.D in the above subjects.
Project Associate-II: M.Sc in Wildlife Science /Zoology/ Forestry/Environmental Science/ Biodiversity Conservation/ RS and GIS with minimum 60% aggregate. Two years field research experience.
Project Associate-I: M.Sc in Wildlife Science /Zoology/ Forestry/Botany/ Environmental Science/ Biodiversity Conservation with 60% aggregate.Six months field research experience
Age Limit:
Project Scientist-I: Not exceeding 35 years
Senior Project Associate: Not exceeding 40 years
Project Associate-II: Not exceeding 30 years
Project Associate-I: Not exceeding 30 years
Pay Scale:
Project Scientist-I: ₹ 56000/- per month + HRA as applicable
Senior Project Associate: ₹ 42000/- per month + HRA as applicable
Project Associate-II: ₹ 35000/- per month + HRA as applicable
Project Associate-I: ₹ 31000/- per month + HRA as applicable
