Government of India, Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizens for recruitment of Group A, Group C and Stipendiary Trainees.
About IGCAR
IGCAR was established in the year 1971, under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India.The centre is engaged in broad based multidisciplinary programme of scientific research and advanced engineering directed towards the development of Fast Breeder Reactor technology. Fast Breeder Test Reactor based on unique mixed Plutonium Uranium Carbide fuel, First of its kind in the world and KAMINI Reactor, the only operating Reactor in the World using U233 fuel are successfully operated.
The design of 500 MWe Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor is completed and the construction is in progress. IGCAR:

Educational Qualifications:
Scientific Officer / E: Ph.D. in Metallurgical Engineering / Materials Engineering with B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in respective discipline. Minimum 04 years relevant experience.
Technical Officer / E: B.E. / B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in Chemical discipline.
Scientific Officer / D: Ph.D. with Bachelor of Science and Master of Science (in relevant discipline) or B.E. and M.E. or Master of Technology in in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks.
Technical Officer / C: M.Sc. / M.Tech / B.E. / B.Tech / B>Sc..
Stenographer Grade III: Matriculation / SSC or equivalent with 50% marks. Minimum speed of 80 wpm in English Short hand and 30 wpm in English typing.
Upper Division Clerk (UDC): A Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% marks.
Work Assistant / A: Pass in 10th standard / SSC / Matric.
Stipendiary Trainee Category I: Diploma / B.Sc. Degree in relevant discipline.
Stipendiary Trainee Category II: Minimum SSC / HSC Pass in relevant discipline. ITI certificate of not less than 02 years duration in the relevant trade.
