Vaginal itching is usually vaginal yeast infection which is caused because of the fungus (Fungus i.e. candida albicans lives naturally in the vagina) overgrowth. Make sure to apply organic and pure coconut oil. 
6. Tea tree oil: To kill any type of virus, bacteria and fungi, tea tree oil is another very useful essential oil. As per a trusted source, for treating vaginal infections, has some antifungal properties, and also an effective antimicrobial which helps in breaking down the biofilm.

According to the CDC, Lactobacillus bacteria produce hydrogen peroxide in the vagina which is a biological activity against yeast. Some women have reported that topical usage of hydrogen peroxide has gotten them rid of yeast infection. 
But, there are no strong evidences to prove the same. Do not use it directly on the vagina. Try diluting it in the water or adding it in your bath. Dilute half hydrogen peroxide and half water. 
10. Vitamin C: We all know that vitamin C help sin boosting the immune system. It makes your immune system stronger thus bringing your body back into balance. It is also known as an ascorbic acid that has anti-microbial components. To treat candida overgrowth, this can be added to your diet. Vitamin C intake can be increased to boost your body’s ability against yeast infection. Since, vitamin C is acidic, do not use it directly on the vagina, as it may cause inflammation on your skin.

After you try using these natural home remedies, it may work for some. But, if you have severe itching then, these might not work for you. It should take at least a week for them to show results, but if it does not work and aggravates the itching, then you should call your doctor.

  • Wear cotton underwear and loose fitting bottoms.
  • Reduce sugar intake. Yeast grows fast on sugar. 
  • Do not spend a lot of time in wet clothes. Moist and warn environment aids to yeast growth. 
  • Until and unless advised by doctor, don’t use douches.
  • Avoid using scented vaginal lotions and vaginal deodorant sprays
