Social media has a lot of influence on life lives nowadays and our lives revolve around social media 24/7. There is hardly any moment when we are seen without our phones and not active on social media updating about our lives. It has become an integral part of our lives. And social media influencers are people who have created a name for themselves via social media. And social media influencers play a pivotal role in the promotion of various brands and organizations. Social media influencers, in general, have to do a lot of work to portray themselves perfectly in front of their followers. Being a social media influencer and living a life of an influencer is not easy as it imposes a certain way of life, profession, social status, and way of living.

And one of the topmost social media networks is Instagram. And it is very often referred to as the ‘home of social media influencers. The world of social media is huge and people keep joining this group more and more every day. And in the year 2019, it was worth an estimated $8billion. And the highest-paid influencer of social media is none other than the famous Kylie Jenner and she earns up to $1 billion per sponsored post with 226.5 M followers on Instagram. Also, these sponsored posts can be ranging anywhere from $50 to a whopping $50,000.

An average influencer who not so famous but pretty well known can earn up to $30,000 to $100,000 per year when they promote things like food, hotels, clothing, and vitamin supplements. And according to a 2018 report by Vox, influencers with more than 1M followers can earn up to $100,000 per annum and $250,000 up to per sponsored posts as well. This is the amount that they get for the promotion of a brand on their account but along with that they also have commission attached to it. Like each product bought through their channel also gives them an added income. It is not always that they are paid in cash, sometimes they paid for their accessories, clothing, travel and beauty products, etc.

And now some of the top women influencers on social media are as follows: And when I say social media I mean Instagram because Instagram is the hub of social media influencers.

1.Selena Gomez – She is considered to be the most followed female on Instagram with 222M followers alongside Kylie Jenner. She is an actress, model, and singer who uses her talent to connect with her fans worldwide, and thus brands usually pay her $800k for a post to advertise their products.

2.Kylie Jenner – While Selena Gomez is considered the most followed female influencer on Instagram, Kylie Jenner is considered as the most followed and influential influencer on social media with more than 226M followers. She earns around one million dollars for an advertisement post she puts up on her account. She is even labeled as the ‘youngest billionaire in the world by Forbes.

3.Beyonce – Beyonce comes at number 3 in terms of the most influential influencer on social media, who is an American singer, songwriter, and actress who is famous on social media for glamorous holidays and beautiful family posts.

4.Kendall Jenner – Sister of Kylie Jenner and a part of the Jenner – Kadarshian family, she is the highest-paid influencer on Instagram after Christiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. She is now a well-known model working for famous brands like Victoria's Secret, Vogue, and many more, all thanks to her popularity on Instagram.

9.Zendaya – Standing at number nine we have Zendaya with 91.3M followers on Instagram, she started her career as a child actor and model who is now famous for her role as Michelle in the new Spiderman videos.

10.Demi Lovato – And lastly on number 10 we have Demi Lovato with 102M followers on Instagram, who is a singer and artist by profession but famous on the social media sites for the awareness she creates about mental health. She is an influencer who is acknowledged for concern regarding various social issues which are often neglected by others.

The above-mentioned women are just the top 10 most influential and highest-paid female social media influencers but the list is still ongoing with Cardi B on number 11, followed by Kim Kadarshin, Niomi Smart, Amanda Cerny, Lisa, and many more.

Well, now that we know that how much can one social media influencer earn from social media by promoting various brands and what is the average amount paid for a sponsored post to the highest amount paid for the same. It is time for us to know that how long does it takes a social media influencer to create a post that is going to earn them thousands of dollars. And most of them said that it is in between the time period of 10 minutes to three hours, which is a lot of time. But then again, social media is all about perfection, and without it, you won’t be able to survive the social media world.

The above-mentioned artists, singers, and models are macro-social media influencers, making the promotion on an international level as they have a wide and dedicated fanbase all over the world. Whereas the micro influencers who might have 10,000 or more followers can be better product promoters than them because their followers are more real and would want an honest review from someone closer to them and like them. Also, the relationship shared between a micro-influencer and a macro-influencer with their followers is a lot different like it is easier for a micro-influencer to have a more personal relationship with the audience whereas it is not the same for macro-influencers like Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Thus, to conclude I would like to say the life of a social media influencer is not easy as they always have to present a perfect lifestyle to their audience as well as promote brands and give the audience a perfect answer without hurting anyone’s sentiments. And they also happen to earn a lot of money just by promoting certain brands.
